その一方で野生動物にとっても住みやすい環境であるため、農作物への被害など「ジューガイ」が大きな問題となっています。
※ジューガイ…獣などによる農林水産物の食害など、直接・間接を問わず、哺乳類が人類の生活上に不利益をもたらすこと。
地域の猟師が中心となって毎年猪や鹿の捕獲を行っていますが、捕獲後にその大半は破棄されています。
こうした現状に対して、現在愛南町では、持続的な地域の未来のために地域資源の見直しを進めており、鳥獣捕獲後の利活用を進めています。
この体験では、ジビエを始めとする愛南町の食材をBBQで食べる食体験を通して獣害の現状や課題、命のあり方を学ぶことができます。
体験を通して狩猟の奥深さと里山暮らしの魅力をぜひ体感してください。
