After a few minutes of travel, we will pass through an extensive pine forest, (reforestation) until we arrive at the site called Huanca Urco, located on the northern end of the great hill of Huancas, from there we will have a privileged view of the canyon of the Utcubamba River, the valley of the province of Luya, also and with the help of binoculars, we observe the archaeological site of “Pueblo de los Muertos” and the Gocta Falls, from this viewpoint we unfold the pre-Hispanic road (Capac Ñan) until we reach the bottom of the canyon, minutes later we will visit the archaeological site of Huanca Urco that occupies the upper part of the mountain, this site is surrounded by a perimeter wall and whose center is located a rectangular construction and other constructions that corresponds to the first occupations of the mitimas Huancas, guided tour1 hour • Admission Ticket IncludedView Location
