We will pick you up from your hotel located in the city of Tarapoto to go towards Lamas located 12 miles by road. This lovely place is situated between 310 and 920 meters above sea level and that’s why it is known as the City with three natural floors. Also, it is surrounded by the Cordillera Azul national park. Upon arrival, you will take a tour around the Plaza Mayor of Lamas to appreciate different statues that represent the local customs and lifestyle. The tour to Lamas continues to the neighborhood of Huayco, an ethnic Quechua speaking community that keeps the same ancestral customs. This is a special place because its inhabitants wear handmade colorful clothes and their have mud homes without windows cause they believe evil spirits enter through them.
