Travel Itinerary
- Exclusive to travelers from this booking.
Everest Base Camp Trekking is all about getting to some of the highest navigable points on Earth. The trek , one of the most iconic trekking in Nepal, takes you to the very base of Mt. Everest through the exceptional landscape of Everest region with cultural richness of highland Sherpa settlements and monasteries; and the natural wonders of Himalayan giants including Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, AmaDablam, Cho-Oyu etc. The trip, which is undoubtedly the best trekking in the Himalaya, starts with a day of exploration in the treasure troves of Kathmandu and continues with an electrifying flight to the airport in Lukla, which hangs on the edge of the cliff at 2860m.
From Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region, the trip winds through the floral and faunal richness of Sagarmatha National Park, while at the same time following the spectacular views of Himalayan giants including Mt. Everest (8848m), Mt. Lhotse (8586m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8188m) and Mt. AmaDablam (6812m). Not just the natural grandeur, once the trail starts ascending, you will also get deeper and deeper into the astounding cultural highlights of highland Sherpa villages. View Location

- Lukla airport or Tenzing–Hillary Airport is a shortest point to start trek to Everest base camp by flight. It lies at the altitude of around 2845 meter in the Himalaya. Hence, to avoid bad weather condition, entire airlines operate their flight in the morning time.
- Due to unfavorable weather conditions, flight to/from Lukla gets delayed or even canceled for one, couple or more days. It might be happened at the time of your trek start or at the end of your trek. Also, you might need to aspect this kind of obstacle even in best season of Nepal.
- We hope this will not happen but in case if this occurs we will try our best to schedule next flight. Furthermore, we suggest you to be prepared with this kind of circumstance. If possible, please try to keep some buffer days in your itinerary. In case if flight cancelled for longer days, you can choose alternative trip toward Annapurna, Langtang and Upper Mustang region. These areas are easily accessible by road so you will not have any problem for flight.
- Alternatively, if you wish to stick with original itinerary then we can arrange Helicopter flight to/from Lukla with a supplement charge. Please note that supplement charge is additional to your flight cost. At the time of your flight to/from Lukla, if you feel that your flight is going to be canceled, you can consult with your guide to arrange Helicopter. As per the availability we will inform you about the time and supplement cost of the flight.
- Please note that we are unable to refund or cover the expenses done due to flight cancellation before or after trek. Plus, you will not be entitled to any refund for the services that are not used and included in the package.
