Our Oyster Farm Tour take place at the Shellfisher Preserve on Southold Bay. This beautiful location is a natural preserved area managed by the Peconic Land Trust. It is a shared operation where multiple farmers grow aquaculture products. Upon arrival, you will learn about the process of spawning oysters in a hatchery. Then, the tour will move to the grow-out phase where oysters grow into market size shellfish. Our tour is outdoors outdoors and fun.
