About the Activity
This small group tour explores the best of West Iceland. The Snæfellsnes peninsula has some of Iceland’s best sights, with the beauty and mystique inspiring world famous novels, enchanting visitors every day. This is a one day trip that you will not forget. We start the day departing from Reykjavik on the ring road heading north. As we get closer to Snæfellsnes, we will start to notice a change in the scenery, with everything becoming more dramatic. We will start to pass through enormous lava fields, mountains that seem to rise from the ocean, charming fishing villages and endless bays and beaches. Included is a delicious lunch at one of our favoruite local restaurants. This tour is run by request with a minimum of 4 people to depart, as part of a small group tour (max 12 people). Pickup details
Tour operator will pick up all customers from their respective locations- Travelers CANNOT choose a custom pickup or meeting location.
- Pickups start at 08:30am. Please be at your designated pick up point at this time. We pick up from the designated tourist bus pick up points in downtown Reykjavik, and certain hotels where it is permissible to drive a mini bus and pick up from. If you are in downtown Reykjavik we will likely need to use one of these pick up points. If you cannot see your hotel in the list then please choose from one of the designated meeting points (bus stops) in central Reykjavik.

- Please inform us of where you are staying so we can let you know of the nearest designated pickup point is to meet you for pickup. Restrictions on buses in downtown area mean that we cant pickup directly from all hotels.

No redemption point. This is a direct entry ticketWHAT TO BRING • Waterproof jacket because even on warm days it’s best to stay dry at all times. • Layers of clothing, we often get all 4 seasons in one day. • Camera with a fully charged battery as there will be ample time to take lots of pictures. • Lunch is included (one main per person) and we do make stops to allow you to stock up on some snacks and drinks along the way. PICKUP & DROP-OFF • Please inform us of where you are staying in Reykjavik. New restrictions within Reykjavik means buses have to pick up from designated points. We cannot pickup from AirBnB addresses. We will inform you of the nearest pick up point if you tell us where you are staying. • Pick up time for the Snæfellsnes Peninsula Tour is at 8:30 am. There may be other people being picked up from different locations in Reykjavik though, so if we are a little past 8:30 am then don’t worry, we’re on our way. • Drop off time: We aim to be back at your drop off point around 8pm, but many things can affect that time so please don’t worry if we are a little late returning. It’s either for safety reasons or to give you the best experience. • Check the pickup information page on our website for more info on the pickup locations. Cancellable up to 24 hours before the travel date (local supplier time) for a full refund. A 100% cancellation penalty applies for cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the start time.- For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
- Cancel at least 1 day before activity starts in Atlantic/Reykjavik time to receive 100% refund.
