Amazon Amazing Tours
Manaus, Brazil, 69008-970Beginning of the journey to the Meeting of the Waters , where we will observe the Rio Negro and Solimões that together form the Amazon River. Next we will visit the January Lake, where we will see the floating houses located on a inundated area because of the the flood period of the river. After that we will visit a fair of local crafts, and ride with canoes into the lake Igapós where we can see some wild animals like monkeys, sloths, anaconda, a variety of birds and water lilies. Then we will start to fish for piranhas and other species, later we will go back to the boat to observe the sunset and to get ready to the night tour. During the night tour we will be helping capture alligators using flashlights sending bright light into their eyes. After capturing the guide will make some explanations and then the animal will be returned to its natural habitat.
