Phakding
Phakding, NepalOur guide picks you up from the hotel for 30-35 minutes of an early morning flight to Lukla. The flight to Lukla itself is a great adventure with an aerial view of the vast landscape with lush valleys and hills, view of the Himalayan range, wavy rivers and valleys. We meet the rest of the team ( porters) and begin on the short trek to Phakding. Watching the local settlements and spinning prayer wheels, we descend to Chheplung village past mani walls. Crossing several suspension bridges, we today walk through dense forest that is home to diverse flora and fauna.
