Hornindalsvatnet Lake

This lake is very large, with an area of 50.5 square kilometers and a depth of 514 meters. The lake contains only a few species of fish (such as trout, char and eel), but the rivers are much more productive. Hornindalsvatnet's source, the Eidselva River, is a famous salmon and trout fishery in Nordfjordeid. Fishing permits can be purchased from local hotels along with maps showing where fishing is permitted.
