About the Activity

You will see more scenic beauty & experience nature better on a bike tour than by car. This tour is delivered only by myself, Alasdair and my local colleagues. I am the business owner of Visit Oxford Tours. However, for insurance purposes, these tours are actually booked to be conducted privately via myself as a self employed sole trader offering you a personal service. They are not delivered as a product delivered by Visit Oxford Tours Ltd. This legal distinction will be reconfirmed in writing whenever any booking is received. Default itinerary is 10am to 5.30pm. The Cotswolds is a scenic part of England located only 10 minutes by train from Oxford or less than 30 minutes tax ride from Oxford. Oxford is only 60 minutes from London Paddington station. It's my pleasure to share these sights & heritage with you on an active cycling tour. Participants must be fit and aged 14+ as the Cotswolds roads are lots of up and down cycling but the scenery plus the villages here are beautiful.

In fact, this village has appeared in several historic tv dramas on BBC TV. This tour meets outside my home in Long Hanborough village- the actual address will be shared after you book the tour. It is 30 minutes walk from Hanborough train station or about 5 minutes by taxi from station and I can reserve a taxi for you, if you request me to do so. View Location

No redemption point. This is a direct entry ticketYour booking will always be confirmed by myself anyway so there is no need to even show your digital ticket on arrival. I just need to confirm your name as on the booking. I also wear a red lanyard to help you identify me on arrival. When you book, I will check what if any info you may need to identify how to meet me eg if using train, then to inform you of train times etc. I don't need to see your ticket on meeting you as all I ask is the name which you booked under. NOTICE: This tour is delivered by myself as an individual and not as a sole trader. Due to insurance exemptions, this tour is not run as a product of my company called Visit Oxford Tours Ltd.

Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellable up to 24 hours before the travel date (local supplier time) for a full refund. A 100% cancellation penalty applies for cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the start time.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Suplier may cancel the activity on account of bad weather conditions.
Cancel at least 1 day before activity starts in Europe/London time to receive 100% refund.
