A truly authentic Māori experience. This 3.5 hour tour (9.00am to 12.30) is an intimate and spiritual encounter that only few people (up to 5) will have the opportunity to embrace, its unique, private & exclusive. Embark on a journey of a lifetime and experience tangata whenua and the genuine hospitality and knowledge from your local Māori hosts. A cultural experience that inspires, informs, and entertains as you learn to weave flax flowers and pronounce Māori words through song. Your hosts, husband and wife Mervyn and Rangimarie, can’t wait to welcome you to their home in New Zealand’s most northern city, Whangārei. Come and immerse your mind, body and soul on your journey of discovery into our culturally significant sites of majestical waterfalls and beautiful flora & fauna that surround our ancestors, the Kauri.
