You will meet with our local guide at the harbor so you can enjoy better this Inle Lake Boat Tour. You will definitely have the chance to see with your own eyes that Inle Lake is famous for the people rowing their boats with only one leg. You will then see the floating gardens as well as experience their traditional fishing style. Moreover, it is the best moment to learn about Inle lake villagers’ living style. During the boat trip, you can have a memorable time with genuine fishermen so don’t miss the opportunity. You will then visit the oldest monastery of Inle Lake, the famous Nga Phe Chaung monastery. After that proceed to the renowned Phaung Daw Oo pagoda located in the western part of Nampa and Ywama. In there, you will find five small Buddha Images totally covered by a large amount of gold leaves.
Now, it is time to enjoy your lunch at one of the local restaurants on Inle Lake. Next, let’s move to the silk weaving village, In Phaw Khon. You can meet there the Paadaung ladies, also known for their long neck and for wearing many rings around. Continue your boat trip to Indein which is about 8 kilometers far from Inle Lake. After reaching the harbor, you will have to walk a few minutes to get to Shwe Indein Pagoda, a collection of some of the ruin stupas from the 17th and 18th century. Then, we will bring you to visit the floating cottage industry to observe the silk weaving and cigar making. It will be time to say goodbye and to transfer you back to the jetty.
