Join Suzy in her modern kitchen and learn to cook three Belgian dishes that might include a soup or dessert, appetizer and main. You can expect the cooking experience to last two hours before you sit down and share the meal you helped prepare with Suzy and Bob. You might try stoverij (juicy chunks of beef stewed in beer), vol au vent (chicken and mushrooms in a bechamel sauce), witloof (Belgian endive with cheese and ham) or Suzy's creation roast chicken with fresh garden vegetables and homemade bread. Suzy is particular about cooking with high quality ingredients - she gets her meat from a local butcher that personally sources from a local farm. Beer or wine is included in your experience! Next, join Suzy in her modern kitchen and learn to cook a Belgian meal that includes a soup or appetizer, main and dessert created from locally sourced, high-quality ingredients. Your Belgian cooking experience lasts two hours after which you will sit down with Suzy and her husband Bob to share the meal you helped prepare. Growing up, dinner time was always Suzy's favorite memory because she enjoyed the healthy food and delightful conversations with family at the table. She is now excited to host travelers over food and engaging conversation at her table - your meal includes beer or wine.

From downtown Ghent, take tram #T2 heading north towards Wondelgem or Evergem, get off at the stop ‘VROONSTALLESTRAAT’. After getting off the tram, take Boterbloemlaan (on the same side of the stop), keep walking until you reach Knotwilgenlaan 4 on your left. It is a 2 minutes’ walk. Please call Suzy if you need help with directions. If you are starting from Sint-Pieters Station: take bus 9a or 9b towards Wondelgem Station. Get off the bus at Wondelgem Station, it’s a 5 minutes’ walk from there to get to Suzy's home. Take the Vierweegse Street, at the traffic light turn right into Evergemse Steenweg, then take the 1st street on the left, follow the bend in the road, Knotwilgenlaan 4 is in the 2nd bend.
