About the Activity
Your hosts Juan and Marina are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to travel, food and culture, and you will gain valuable knowledge of Argentinean cooking and the current Buenos Aires buzzing food scene during this experience. Juan offers a hands-on cooking class but will also demonstrate certain things and techniques. You will first join him to slow cook meat on the barbecue and learn about the different cuts of meat and methods of cooking and eating them. Then, you will join Juan in the kitchen to learn to make the dough for the main entree and some homemade barbecued extra crunchy fugazetta pizzettas. Once you're done cooking, you will sit together to enjoy the meal you have prepared. Juan particularly enjoys cooking Argentinean asado even though he has experience cooking all types of Latin American cuisines, particularly Colombian pastries.
