We start our journey to White Lake in the late afternoon from your hotel in Phan Thiet. On the way, we will stop at the Mui Ne Wharf. Located at the end of Mui Ne Bay, a good 7 km away from the downtown, Mui Ne fishing village is an example of how the traditional fishing industry has retained its charm and authenticity. From a strategic vantage point behind the bay, visitors can see dozens of colourful vessels moored in front of the mainland, ready to set out sail for finding the catch-of-the-day. Lotus Lake

These lakes are not only local fishing grounds for locals but are also seen as a popular area for relaxation after exploring the Mui Ne dunes. The largest lake of the two bodies of water is called Lotus Lake (Bau Ong) with the smaller, yet as charming as the main lake, Bau Ba Lake contains more water as it is on average deeper. This is the best place to listen to the whisper of reaching waves and gaze at the romantic slopes of the never-ending white hills.
