About the Activity
This private walking tour explores explores perhaps the most beautiful town in Britain. Midway between London and York on the old Roman road and a smidgeon over an hour by train from London. Stamford is perhaps the finest Georgian-era town in Britain. You might not have been there before but you’ll likely recognise it from its many appearances onscreen. Stamford’s narrow alleyways and hidden courtyards are home to all manner of specialty shops, fine jewelers & designer boutiques. It also has a Friday Market and a buzzing High Street. Almost every street in Stamford is a work of art with beauty everywhere you look. Not forgetting the great history and quite charm. It's heaven!3 hours to 4 hours
