Monterey
Monterey, United StatesMeet your guide in front of the Old Fisherman's Wharf and embark upon your epicurean exploration of Monterey.  Step back in time at our first stop as small bites are enjoyed in a historic setting.  Venture to Alvarado Street and the hidden gems of downtown Monterey's back streets where locals dine.  Enjoy dishes from traditional Indian or Greek cuisine to local cider and pasta in a gastropub to deep dish pizza.  Next, visit an artisan ice cream shop, sample handcrafted ice cream while visiting the kitchen.  Continue past many historic buildings in Monterey including a couple of California's firsts while hearing stories about Monterey past and present.  Finally, sip local wine and savor delicious local cheese.  Bid your guide and group farewell, but feel free to remain at the last stop after the tour concludes. 3 hours • Admission Ticket FreeView Location

Ticket Redemption

No redemption point. This is a direct entry ticket**Meeting Location**: We will meet outside the entrance to the Old Fisherman's Wharf across from the Custom House. Look for the pink building called Harbor House on the corner. https://maps.app.goo.gl/45kN26hnS64kbkdPA For questions on the day of your experience, please contact Ryan at Monterey Bay Food Tours at 831-392-6617 or 831-204-2211 **WHAT TO WEAR**: Comfort is key. We walk 1.5 to 2 miles so wear comfortable shoes. We tour rain or shine so wearing layers that you can change is desirable. If rain is forecast bring a parka or umbrella. If this is your first time visiting, be aware that most people find the climate cooler than they expected. **WHAT TO BRING**: A hat & sunscreen are handy. Water will be offered at most stops, but you may choose to bring a water bottle. A tip for your guide is always appreciated! **PARKING**: Street parking is time limited so we recommend that you park in one of the public lots or parking garages. The most convenient parking is in the Fisherman’s Wharf parking (address to parking entrance- 101 Washington, Monterey, CA 93940). For budget parking, these are the two most convenient lots located a few blocks from our meeting location: DOWNTOWN EAST Located on Washington and Tyler Street between Franklin Street and Del Monte Avenue (340 Tyler St). Best parking for Conference Center and Downtown. Good parking for Fisherman's Wharf and the Marina. Gate operated entrances, $7 flat entry fee per day, accepts coin, bills and Visa or MasterCard credit cards. DOWNTOWN WEST Located at 340 Tyler Street between Franklin Street and Del Monte Avenue. Good parking for Fisherman's Wharf and the Waterfront. Best parking for Downtown. Hourly parking with an attendant. First hour free, $0.50 per twenty minutes or fraction thereof, $10 maximum per day, Visa or MasterCard accepted. For some special events and night entry, a flat rate will be charged at entry.
