About Wieltsee

The Wieltsee is a quarry pond in the village Weyhe in Diepholz. The lake, which was created in the 1960s as part of the construction of the Federal Motorway 1 , is east of the Dreye district of Weyh, directly south of the Weser in the outer dike area.
