A majestic villa which was Situated along the banks of the Brenta River near the town of Malcontenta. It is a fine example of a unified work of architecture, in which all the parts are harmoniously organized and related to each other, and yet they vary in ways that intensify the building's connection to the larger landscape. TronchettoThe Tronchetto or Island Nova is an artificial island in the Venetian Lagoon western end of Venice and to this connected. The study for the construction of the island was started in 1956 by the engineer Eugenio Miozzi. The island now serves as the terminal of the automobile road network together with the contiguous Piazzale Roma. There are car parks, a tourist terminal and the ferry connections to the Lido of Venice depart from here.
