About Cecita Lake
The lake of blindness is an artificial lake located in the province of Cosenza. It is an artificial lake built for the production of electricity located in the province of Cosenza on the Sila Grande, a few kilometers from Camigliatello Silano and whose banks fall within the municipalities of Spezzano della Sila, Longobucco and Celico. Lago ArvoThe Arvo Lake is an artificial lake located in the province of Cosenza, in the mountains and Cardoneto Melillo, near the town of San Giovanni in Fiore. With a capacity of about 70 million cubic meters of water and a length of 8.7 km, in Calabria, this lake is the second in size after Lake Cecita. The lake is connected with the Ampollino lake through a tunneled pipeline. The north bank is indented, while the south bank is more straight. The seabed is mainly covered with sand and pebbles.
