The upstream Cusna, with its 2121 meters above sea level, is the highest peak of the ' Reggiano Apennines and the second of the entire Northern Apennines after the Monte Cimone. It extends over the territories of the municipalities of Villa Minozzo and Ventasso in the province of Reggio Emilia, about 3 km from the border with the Tuscany region.
