About Monte Santo di Lussari

The Monte Santo di Lussari is a mountain of the Julian Alps, situated in the Municipality of Tarvisio, south of the hamlet of Camporosso. With its 1,789 m asl, it is not one of the major peaks of the Julian Alps and owes its fame mainly to the convent built in the 16th century on top of the mountain and is part of the Jof Fuart-Montasio chain: considered the balcony of the Julian Alps, from its summit, offers a wide view of the Tarvisiano basin and the surrounding hills.
