About Val Tiberina

L ' Alta Valtiberina or Upper Tiber Valley, the valley is crossed by the upper course of the Tiber, unfolding between Tuscany, Umbria and Romagna, parallel to Casentino. The Valtiberina is drawn by the river Tevere and extends along Tuscany and Umbria. The Tiber, but also the landscapes of the Valley were often depicted in paintings by Piero della Francesca to the fascination exerted on the painter.
