Bolton PrioryBolton Abbey lies in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales near Skipton. The land was gifted to the Augustinian canons by Alice de Rumilly in 1154. Pennine WayThe Pennine Way was the first National Trail in England and is one of the UK's most famous long-distance walks. It starts at Edale in the Peak District and ends at Kirk Yetholm in the Borders, just inside Scotland. The highest point reached by the standard route is 893m at the summit of Cross Fell.
