Humber Bridge Country ParkHumber Bridge Country Park is a beautiful 48 acre wood with open meadows and wildlife ponds and so more. The majestic chalk cliffs which surround the park on three sides and look like they are snow-covered give rise to the park's local name of Little Switzerland. The tree-covered chalk terraces of the old chalk quarry offer dramatic views over the River Humber and towering Humber Bridge. One of the nice walking trails and also a good place to spend some leisure time.
Tunstall BeachTunstall Beach is a rural sandy beach, set amongst low craggy cliffs. It is a tranquil setting popular with couples and young families. There is a raised peat bed that was once a large mere (marsh), with a settlement known as Sand-le-Mere which can be seen at low tide. Withernsea Lighthouse MuseumWithernsea’s Lighthouse is one of only a handful of lighthouses built inland, standing 127 feet (38m) high in the middle of the seaside town. It closed in 1976 after 82 years service and now serves as a memorial to local girl Kay Kendal 1950s famous film star, and includes a video film of excerpts from well-known films and memorabilia. Formerly owned and run by Trinity House of London, it ceased operation on 1 July 1976 and is now used as a museum.
Skidby MillThe historic building is located just off the A614 near the village of Skidby and surrounded by picturesque countryside. Built-in 1821, the windmill has been grinding grain for nearly two centuries! It produces its own wholemeal flour, ground between one of its three pairs of millstones and powered by its four 12-meter sails, each weighing more than 1.25 tonnes apiece.
Pier Towers, WithernseaThe Withernsea Pier, Promenade, Gas & General Improvement Co. was formed in 1871. Work on the 1196 foot structure began in 1875 to the design of Thomas Cargill. It opened in August 1877 having cost £12,000. There was a saloon on the pier-head and a large brick-built gateway. Day-trippers from Hull helped generate a small profit.

Beverley BeckBeverley Beck is a short canal in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The beck runs from Grovehill Lock on the River Hull at Beverley west for about 0.8 miles into the town of Beverley. There's a nice footpath running along the pretty beck which you can pick up just to the east of the Minster and train station. The path runs for just under a mile until it joins with the River Hull. The canal is now it is home to the historic barge 'Syntan' owned by the Beverley Barge Preservation Society.

Beverley GuildhallThe Grade 1 Listed building was originally bought by the Beverley Town Keepers in 1501 to be used as a Guildhall, and has seen continuous civic use since. The building is still used for civic and ceremonial occasions and now also holds the Beverley Community Museum. There is also a Magistrates' Room with original 17th Century furniture and an elegant Mayor's Parlour with a silver collection dating back over several centuries.
Toll Gavel ChurchToll Gavel United Church is a friendly Christian Church in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire.
