Hastings Pier is a national treasure brought back to life. It reimagines the Victorian pleasure pier as a sustainable, flexible platform able to accommodate a broad range of community and commercial uses. It was also the winner of the 2017 RIBA Stirling Prize, the UK’s top architecture award. The structure suffered major storm damage in 1990, and was closed to the public for a time before closing completely in 2008,[1] and 95% destroyed by a fire in 2010.Address : 1-10 White Rock, Hastings TN34 1JY, UK
