About Gheluvelt Park

Gheluvelt Park is a memorial park built in honour of those lost in the First World War. It was opened in 1922 and is ornamental in character with a wide brook, duck-pond, bandstand, War Memorial gate and feature, Splash Pad, tennis/netball courts, exercise equipment and Sons of Rest facilities.
