About Hochtor
Hochtor is a saddle in Styria and has an elevation of 1727 metres. Hochtor is situated nearby to Feldl, and southwest of Stoiringhals. Gesäuse National ParkThe Gesäuse National Park is one of the most beautiful places in Styria. It spreads over 12.000 hectares of land and is home to numerous plant and animal species. It covers large parts of the Gesäuse range within the Ennstal Alps and the steep water gap of the Enns river between Admont and Hieflau. The area also covers parts of the municipal areas of Johnsbach, Weng, Landl and Sankt Gallen.

LeopoldsteinerseeA beautiful mountain lake in Styria. It is situated at 628 metres above sea level at the foot of the Seemauer in the western Hochschwab range. The lake is surrounded by rugged mountains with mixed or coniferous forests. A 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) hiking trail circles the lake. There is a local outfit that rents electric or rowing boats. The lake is named after the nearby Leopoldstein Castle.
HengstpassThe Hengstpass is a mountain pass in the Upper Austrian municipality of Rosenau am Hengstpass on the border with Styria . It separates the Reichraminger Hintergebirge from the Haller Mauern. The pass crossing is developed as a state road L 550 and connects the towns of Windischgarsten and Rosenau on the Hengstpass with the towns of Oberlaussa and Unterlaussa , some in Styria, some in Upper Austria, and the Styrian market town of Altenmarkt .
