't Nije Hemelriek't Nije Hemelriek is a recreational lake near Gasselte in the Gieten-Borger forestry in the Dutch municipality of Aa en Hunz. Just west of the recreational lake is a large sand extraction area with a deep pond. Coarse sand was extracted for construction in the sand extraction area. On the north side of this lake is a large recreational beach.
Boswachterij Gieten BorgerThe Boswachterij Gieten-Borger is a forestry of Staatsbosbeheer in the Dutch municipalities of Aa and Hunze and Borger-Odoorn in the province of Drenthe. The Gieten-Borger forestry is approximately 2,900 hectares and was built around 1922 as part of the job creation scheme . Before that time, a vast moorland landscape lay here . First the northern part of the forestry was constructed and then the southern part.

C + B Museum GrollooThe C+B Museum is a museum about the former blues band Cuby + Blizzards . It is located in Grolloo , Drenthe .The museum was opened on June 1, 2011 in the farm on the Voorstreek where lead singer Harry Muskee , aka 'Cuby', lived from 1965 to 1971. Muskee himself witnessed the opening of the museum; a few months later he died of cancer . D25Dolmen D25 is one of the five dolmens located near Bronneger in the Dutch province of Drenthe . The hunebed D25, together with D23 and D24 , forms a somewhat separate and more forested group of dolmens on the Steenakkersweg, a sandy road to Bronneger. The dolmens D22 and D21 are located a little more to the west on the edge of a field. In the vicinity of these dolmens are two burial mounds from the Bronze Age .
D27Dolmen D27 is located on the northeast side of Borger in the Dutch province of Drenthe . The passage grave is the largest dolmen in the Netherlands. Close to this hunebed is the dolmen center, designed by Aldo van Eyck and completed in 2005. The hunebed D27 contains nine capstones on 26 supporting stones and two keystones and a complete gate with four gate stones and a capstone. Two nearby boulders may have been crown stones.
