About Maritiem Centrum "Abraham Fock"
The Maritime Center Abraham Fock is a museum in Hollum on the Wadden Island of Ameland . In the museum you can find a collection about navigation , radio communication and rescue operations. There is also a replica of a ship 's bridge and it is the base of the horse rescue boat . About fourteen times a year a demonstration is given from the center in which ten horses pull the lifeboat towards the beach southwest of Hollum. Artist Barbera Hofker-Esser made a tile tableauof the horse rescue boat.Address : Oranjeweg 18, 9161 CC Hollum, Netherlands

Paardenreddingboot PaardengrafPaardengraf Ameland is a grave for horses at Hollum on Ameland in the Dutch province of Friesland. The horses are buried in the dunes on the east side of the Lifeboat Path. It is not a horse grave with a deceased person. A memorial stone commemorates the disaster day. The stone of Swedish granite was donated to the island by the company Hoogenberg-Wegerif. The funerary monument was placed on Saturday morning December 15, 1979.
