About Stadsmuseum Almelo
Stadsmuseum Almelo is a regional museum in the Overijssel city of Almelo , managed by the Stichting Museum voor Heemkunde Almelo, which was founded on January 8, 1975. The museum is housed in the Rectorshuis , which was the Latin school in 1783 , and the adjacent Heydapand. Until the end of 1986, the museum was located on the top floor of the Waag building on the Marktplein.
