Formerly known as the Kodak Theatre,is a live-performance auditorium in the Ovation Hollywood shopping mall and entertainment complex, on Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue. It was designed as a permanent home for the annual Academy Awards ceremony, and having opening in November 2001 has hosted The Oscars every year since. It is adjacent to the TCL Chinese Theatre and near the El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard.
