Downtown AquariumThis is a public aquarium and restaurant located in Denver, Colorado at the intersection of I-25 and 23rd Ave. The 107,000 square feet main building sits on a 17-acre site adjacent to the South Platte River. Its freshwater and marine aquaria total approximately 1,000,000 US gallons, and exhibit a variety of fish and other animals.
Confluence ParkThis is a living laboratory that allows visitors to gain a greater understanding of the ecotypes of the South Texas region and the function of the San Antonio River watershed. The park includes concrete trails often filled with walkers, runners, and bikers. Some grassy areas, river overlooks, and park benches are also available. Two pedestrian bridges cross the South Platte River and Cherry Creek at Confluence Park.

Children's Museum of Denver at Marsico CampusThe Children's Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus is located in downtown Denver at 2121 Children’s Museum Drive. The Museum focuses on early childhood education, serving children newborn through age eight and their caregivers through interactive exhibits and educational programming. The 46,902 square foot building is located on a 9-acre campus and has 20 exhibits and approximately 450,000 visitors annually.
Larimer SquareThis is the Denver's urban shopping and dining district. Victorian buildings house specialty boutiques and unique chef-driven restaurants. It served as the city's main business area for years, but by the 1900s, it had deteriorated into a run-down area. In 1965, Larimer Square Associates began restoring it as a historical and commercial centre.
Skyline ParkThis one-acre linear park and plaza was a central feature of the Skyline Urban Renewal District, a revitalization plan conceived in the 1950s for Lower Downtown Denver. The park incorporates the Daniels and Fisher Tower in a narrow urban canyon created by stepped, raised planting areas of ruddy concrete. Sunken walkways and courtyards lead to fountains, some with paths through them. Berms of evergreen and deciduous plantings suggesting mountain settings screen the park from the street.
