. The best way to reach Cedar Mountain is by car. From Denver, take I-70 west to US 40. Exit at US 40 and turn left (west). Follow US 40 for about 22 miles to the small town of Dinosaur. Continue on US 40 for another 28 miles until you reach the town of Maybell. In Maybell, turn right (north) onto County Road 7. Follow County Road 7 for about 19 miles until you reach Cedar Mountain.
