How to Reach Wildhorse Peak

From Ouray, travel east on Highway 550 for about six miles to the turn-off for Camp Bird Road (County Road 361). Follow this road for another four miles as it switchbacks up the mountain. At the top of the pass, you will come to a fork in the road. Take the left fork, which leads to Yankee Boy Basin. From here, continue following the signs to Wildhorse Peak.
