About Green Mountain Reservoir
Green Mountain Reservoir is located in Summit County, Colorado. The reservoir is fed by the Blue River and supplies water to Denver and the surrounding areas. The dam that impounds the reservoir was completed in 1950. The reservoir has a capacity of 77,000 acre-feet and a surface area of 1,400 acres.
