About Marietta National Cemetery

Marietta National Cemetery is a U.S War Veterans’ cemetery. The site of the cemetery was initially donated by the Congregation Children of Israel in Marietta. The cemetery is still considered active today, and most recently celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2016. Boasting over 13,000 graves all honoring those who were bravely served their country, it is a testament to the hundreds of thousands of men and women who have died defending freedom around the world.
