About Lake Zwerner

With its crystal clear waters and a shoreline of over five miles, this scenic lake is the ideal spot for swimming, fishing and boating. The lake was built in 1965 by the Corps of Engineers, who hoped to provide the local community with both recreation and flood control. Today, its cypress trees provide shade for anglers trying to catch catfish and bass, while hikers can explore one of several trails which wind around the lake.
