About Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis
This architectural wonder was built in 1888 and is a spectacular example of Victorian Gothic architecture. It is comprised of shades of red sandstone, brown-gray limestone, blue marble, and terra-cotta blocks. The spires reach a soaring height of over two hundred feet and support a large open bell tower containing five bells that chime every Sunday.
