About Platte Plains Trail
The Platte Plains Trail is a beautiful and scenic path that begins in the small town of Thompsonville and ends at Honor. The 10-mile trail is ideal for hiking, as it runs adjacent to the Platte River for a large portion of the trip. You'll cross grassy open fields interspersed with groves of hardwood trees, weaving along the same paths used by settlers and merchants in the 1800s. Additionally, it's not uncommon to spot wildlife like deer, turkey, and great blue herons while traversing the trail.Address : Trail End, Honor, MI 49640, USA
