Hornbill Festival- Kisama Heritage VillageAlso called the 'Festival of Festivals', the Hornbill Festival is a celebration held every year from 1 to 10 December. The state of Nagaland is home to several tribes, which have their own distinct festivals. To encourage inter-tribal interaction and to promote the cultural heritage of Nagaland, the Government of Nagaland organizes the Hornbill Festival every year in the first week of December. The first festival was held in 2000.
Taphou WaterfallsThis is a beautiful waterfall located in the heart of Manipur, which is situated in the middle of a dense forest. Trekking lovers will like this area very much. Singda DamSingda dam is located about 20 kms from Imphal, the capital of Manipur. The drive to the dam is picturesque and is surrounded by paddy fields and lush green hills.
