Mount Utsayantha Fire Tower
Mount Utsayantha Fire Tower is located in the Catskill Mountains in Delaware County, New York. Built in 1925, it is the only remaining fire tower in the Catskills and one of the few remaining fire towers in the state. The tower stands at an impressive 65 feet tall and is visible from several areas of the county. It was originally used by the state to look out for forest fires; however, it has since been renovated as a viewing platform for visitors to enjoy the expansive views of the Catskills.
