The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, commonly known as Rose-Hulman, is a private engineering, mathematics, and science college located in Terre Haute, Indiana.It was founded in 1874 as the Rose Polytechnic Institute. It was later renamed Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in honor of the Hulman family, prominent benefactors of the institution.
