About Bargi Dam
Bargi Dam in Jabalpur is constructed on the Narmada River and is one of the first completed dams in Madhya Pradesh which is 69 meters high. The magnificent picture of the Bargi Dam is a treat to the senses. Madan MahalA historical place of interest located on top of a hill in Jabalpur which was founded by Gond rulers. Dating back to 11th Century AD. The fort is a small one and is considered to be one of the finest ancient monuments of India. There are so many things of interest in and around the fort.
Balancing RockBalancing rock is an independent rock precariously balancing over another rock situated at the base of Madan Mahal Fort, 6 km from Jabalpur, The upper rock balances on the base of the lower rock. The physics of these rocks has also attracted a lot of geologists who keep visiting this place. One can walk further up to the Madan Mahal Fort and take a look around or climb up the watchtower in the fort complex to get extensive views of the other rocky formations found around.
