About Hornisgrinde

At 1,164 m (3,820 ft) above the sea level, is the highest mountain in the Northern Black Forest of Germany. The treeless wet heathlands on the highest areas here were created following forest clearance and the subsequent use of the land as grazing in the 15th century.

All Saints' AbbeyOne of the major religious, cultural and political centres of the region from 13th to 18th century. A bolt of lightning struck the church tower in 1804, causing a large fire and destroying the building completely. All Saints WaterfallsThe Lierbach stream cascades as a natural waterfall, down seven steps, a total drop of 83 metres creating All Saints Waterfalls. The waterfalls belonged for centuries to a monastery- All Saints' Abbey, the ruins of which are only a few hundred metres away. Because they lie in a deeply incised and narrow valley, they were inaccessible for a long time.

Baumwipfelpfad Schwarzwald(Treetop Walk Black Forest)With an overall length of 1,250 metres and a top height of 20 metres, the treetop walk meanders through the beech trees, firs and spruces of the mountain forest. Parc de l'OrangerieOrangerie Park is a public park in the city of Strasbourg. It is located opposite the Palais de l'Europe and close to the other European institutions in the district known as the Orangerie, within the Neustadt. Its area is 26 hectares. The geometric layout of the first promenade planted with trees dates back to the 17th century. The park, probably designed by Antoine du Chaffat, was developed in 1740.

Tomi Ungerer Museum-International Illustration CentreA majestic museum which was located in Strasbourg dedicated to the work of Strasbourg-born artist Tomi Ungerer. it was opened in the year of 2007 and displays more than 11,000 works. The museum was set in a spacious villa named Villa Greiner and it was spread over three floors. It displays graphic works of all kinds by Ungerer and some of his most famous colleagues.
