Phayao Lake
This is the largest freshwater lake in the northern region and the 4th in Thailand. The word “Kwan” is the local dialect meaning “lake”. Thus, Phayao Lake means the vast lake. It is surrounded by Doi Mae Jai which is in the west. The color of sky during the dusk and dawn coupled with the beautiful water shade is very amazing and impressive.
