Tinuy-an falls is the widest, multi-level waterfall in the Philippines located deep toward the rainforest of Bislig at Barangay Burboanan, Surigao del Sur of Mindanao. It features a ravaging yet magnificent clear waterfall emanating from the rainforest that separates Surigao del Sur and Agusan del Sur. It has a length of 908 m, making it the longest bridge in Mindanao, and the second-longest cable-stayed bridge in the Philippines after the Marcelo Fernan Bridge that connects Cebu City and Mactan Island.
Monfort Bat SanctuaryThe Monfort Bat Sanctuary is home to 1.8 million Geoffroy’s Rosette fruit bats – the largest known colony of the species in the world. The bats all live in a single cave – guests aren’t allowed to enter, but they can peer over bamboo railings into any of five openings where the seething masses of sleeping fruit bats can be seen coating the cave walls. it was one of the beautiful attractions in this area.
