About Villa Escudero Museum
The Escuderos have been a well-known family in Quezon since the late 1800s. The museum contains the private collections of the family from their local travels and from around the world. It was started by Arsenio and Rosario Escudero and passed on to the living generations of the family. Saint Francis of Assisi Parish ChurchOne of the famous old roman catholic church which was located in Quezon. The main features of the church include the old baptistery located at the first floor of the four-story church belfry that contains old bells. Connected to the left side of the main structure is the 1922 convent that was erected during the term of Fr. Policarpio Trinidad. It was one of the famous pilgrimage centres in this area.
Lucban ChurchAlso known as San Luis Obispo de Tolosa Parish Church, Lucban Church follows the style of Baroque architecture with features of Corinthian columns and niches on its facade. Its interiors meanwhile are washed with colorful frescoes on its walls and ceiling. The church was established by Franciscan priests in 1578 and was elevated as a parish in 1595. Lucban Church weathered several wreckages from a fire, bomb, and earthquake, but was subsequently rebuilt thereafter.
