About Masinloc Church
The San Andres Church is a magnificent reminder of our rich history, its Spanish-era Baroque architecture still steadfast even after the passage of centuries. It can be found in Masiloc, Zambales, the first town established by the Spanish in province in 1607. The church is has been named a national culture heritage in 1970. The building was founded by Augustinian Recollects in the 18th century. Mount TapulaoMount Tapulao, known as “High Peak”, can be found in the beautiful province of Zambales. It is the tallest peak in the Zambales Mountain Range. It is also one of two hot spring locations in Pangasinan, with the other found in Balungao. Pools are readily available for those who want to experience the hot spring, which originates from underground waters coming from Mt. Zambales. Aside from water activities, a viewdeck tower will be available soon upon the development of its trail.
Saint Dominic de Guzman Parish ChurchSt. Dominic de Guzman Parish Church was the largest existing Catholic Church in the Philippines during the late 18th century. Built by Dominican friars in the 1500’s, the church follows a Baroque style of architecture. It was constructed with ladrillo or bricks while its top level features a painting of Saint Dominic. The church was reconstructed several times after being destroyed by fire, in 1587 and in 1718, and after a number of natural disasters.
Lake PinatuboA beautiful crater lake which was located in the Botolan, Zambales. The view from this area is truly astonishing and a lot of people visit this place every day. Geophysical evidence shows that there were at least two ancient lakes in the Mapanuepe River valley in the southwestern part of the volcano.
