Immaculate Conception Cathedral Puerto PrincesaThis cathedral is a historical landmark where Puerto Princesa's first mass was held in 1872. At that time, the Spanish expedition also proclaimed that the Immaculate Conception of Mary is the patroness of Puerto Princesa. Painted light blue, the cathedral has pointed symmetrical arches redolent of Gothic architecture. The cathedral houses some of the finest examples of wood carvings found on the island, which were made by the craftsmen in the Iwahig Penal Colony.
Honda BayHonda Bay is one of Puerto Princesa’s main attraction thanks to the many beautiful islands present in the bay. Island hopping in Honda Bay is on most tourists’ bucket list when visiting Palawan and makes a perfect day trip from Puerto Princesa. It is famous for its white-sand beaches and its cool environment.
Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National ParkThis park features a spectacular limestone karst landscape with an underground river. One of the river's distinguishing features is that it emerges directly into the sea, and its lower portion is subject to tidal influences. The area also represents a significant habitat for biodiversity conservation. The site contains a full 'mountain-to-sea' ecosystem and has some of the most important forests in Asia.
Tabon CavesThe Tabon Cave Complex is a 138-hectare museum site reservation at the western coastline of Quezon town, Southern Palawan. It lies northwest of the town proper, bound on the north, east and west parts by coastal sea; it is an isthmus connected to the mainland by mangroves. Although there is only one cave originally named Tabon, all caves in Lipuun Point Reservation have become collectively known as Tabon Cave Complex where numerous archaeological artifacts have been discovered since 1962.
